Workshop Lesson ( Dis ambling Pump)

Yesterday during Workshop lesson, we were doing dis ambling of pump. We were given choices to choose which type of pumps do we want to dis amble so my group chose vertical gas/liquid pump. It was as usual fun and interesting lesson and i can't wait for the next lesson which is dis ambling of gas turbine. Here are some pictures taken during the lesson and some explanation some of the procedure before doing the dis ambling task:

We needed to use hydraulic jack to place it to a non crowded space due to its weight 

They were wrapping their pump with  wire sling 

that brown wire is used to control the movement of the pump later  on

after they have done, the sling handles were hooked to the hi jack

So were doing the same thing to our pump then the dis ambling task begun

L&C 1st week performance

Today, at the Audio and Visual Room, the individual L&C presentation had started. The presentation is about anything related to Marine. It is the assignment that carries 30%. Below are some pictures of the candidates performing today. My turn is coming soon, i will try to get a help from my friend to record my performance. I'll be updating my performance around next week. Engineering Drawing Assignment 1

My Engineering Drawing assignment was finally finished

During Workshop 6th April

Last Saturday, during the workshop period, we were asked to form groups of 4-5 people to dis amble a Gate valve. We were first asked to briefly sketch the valve from top, front and side view. At the same time, one of the member of the group would need to write a report on what we had done. I've learn a lot and having fun but the safety precaution was still be taken seriously. So here are some pictures during the lesson:

Singing Class xp

Singing class? not exactly. Well miss Ziana, our Language & Communication tutor asked us to form a group of four or five people and chose a chorus from any song. We were first asked to sing group by group then followed by per every person. The objective of the lesson is to teach us to project our voice as it is one of the important asset when delivering speeches which soon to be held. Then winner were selected but this two guys Ammar and Din have the same crowd votes so they have to compete again to win the audiences' hearts



at the end of the lesson, we requested miss Ziana to sing a song for us and she did. I've asked her permission to upload this videos and she's fine with it and she is totally a great singer x)

Presentation day for ND2 students

Today, as mentioned above, the ND2 students (our senior) were having their presentation on their final year project and that will surely happened to me as well in a blink of eyes. All of the marine department students were asked to go to our Audio&Visual Room to watch their presentation as some judges were invited as well to assess the students.
